Boris78 says no, you must have 100% faith in their findings.

No, I didn't say that. Jeez. Right now, Jfern. QUOTE ME WHERE I SAID THAT.

All I'm saying is that it's the most credible source we have in dealing with events from the 1970s, the 1980s, the 1990s, and the 2000s that led up to September 11, 2001. There are some obvious flaws with the 9/11 Commission, such as the failure to mention the collapse of building number seven. However, in relating to the failures of the federal government prior to 9/11 and the in recommending a course of action in the aftermath of 9/11, I believe that the 9/11 Commission is essentially correct.

In fact, just for failing to mention the collapse of building number seven of the WTC, I'll say yes, they should. We deserve a 100% comprehensive report on that terrible day in our history, not a 98% one.

The 9/11 commission is definitely not a complete source of 9/11 information. I'd argue that there's far more useful information here:
http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/project.jsp?project=911_project

They really left a lot of stuff out.

That the  Able danger program identified Mohamed Atta as a possible Al Qaeda member directly contradicts the 9/11 commission.

I'm sure I can find plenty more. The 9/11 commission seemed to be covering Bushes ass a lot. Please don't think that they are the final word. They have left out a lot more important stuff than WTC 7.

Could you try and be less of an asshole, geez?

Yeah, I have no authority to question the 9/11 commission because I didn't speak to the guy who ignored all the warnings? WTF?

You can take back your statement, but don't try to claim you didn't say it.

No can do. Being an asshole is my game Smiley But please, don't try and put words in mouth.

You're taking my words out of context. I'm trying to say that you have no authority to say that Bush knew about and/or ignored the terrorist threat because quite frankly, you don't truly know whether he did or not. Where do I ever mention that you can't question the 9/11 Commission? By all means, do so, but put forth credible evidence that says the 9/11 Commision is incorrect in their findings and their tracing of the events from January to September of 2001.

Here is the full paragraph of what I said:

Obviously the 9/11 commission is far from perfect. It's just one study, and one should question it objectively, critically, and analytically.

But it is, so far, the single best source of information we have from a non-biased perspective about what happened and how it could have been stopped.

What's really funny is that a lot of the same people who were espousing these kook beliefs about 9/11 were the same people who were espousing kook beliefs about the Clinton's being behind the murder at Waco, the downing of TWA 800, etc., etc.

Now instead of having the angry right pushing their loony causes, they have the angry left doing it for them.

Got anything to refute, or do you just like using the word kook?

The site I posted is legit unlike the Bush version or the Pentagaon attacked themselves version.

Leave him alone jfern.  Geez, the only people who you hate more than Republicans are the 95% Democrats that don't see eye-to-eye with you.

We all should.  It should be our top priorities to find out if it's accurate.  Ia have the book, I just haven't gotten to it.
