I used to edit a soap opera from T&T. Very gripping stuff. Oh yeah. That aside, you have to love a country where even the housewives say "Yo crazy, mon?" to each other.

I have formed the "Trinidad Ugly Baby Theory."  I think that whenever a Trinidadian woman has an ugly baby, the put it in reed boat and send it either Venezuela or Tobago.  That way, they breed out ugliness.

In 1998, I was watch the Miss Universe contest, when a friend (woman) called  and said "Wait to you see Miss Trinidad."

I waited until Wendy Fitzwilliam came on screen.





I called her back and said, "Leave me quotin' Eric Williams, mon!"
