I find the strong independent cluster on this forum amusing.  Especially looking at the mock election in 2004, third parties win large amounts of the vote.  Why are we so independent?

It's a youth thing I suppose, to be a major party supporter is too uncool and mainstream.

Actually that was because the mock election was posted on alot of Libertarian forums and blogs so we had a steady stream of Libertarians voting in it for the first three weeks or so. Then the more normal amount of voters came in, especially Democrats who do populate alot of the internet, so that led to Kerry's larger numbers.

No, Webster Brooks. He's apparently active in some independent circles and tried to draft Powell for President in 1996. But now that you mention Albert Brooks, Imperato will probably "see himself" eating dinner with Albert Brooks.
