So apparently polls are only accurate when they favor Democrats?

You have one poll showing Kean ahead against several showing Menendez ahead, and you also have the NJ polling factor in which most of the time Jersey polls (even right before the election, but especially this far out) traditionally show better results for the GOP than the overal election results.

I'm not claiming, based on these results or any other - that Kean is going to win - simply that it is a dead heat.

I think this poll is something of an outlier, but I don't believe the forum predictions that the election will be a landslide for Menendez just yet.  I agree that this still has a lot of potential to be a close race.
