FDR.

Reagan voted for FDR all four times himself, and was still quite proud of this fact when he was in office.

My vote would go to Reagan.

Both were what could be described as great Presidents, but I line up more closely to Reagan's philosophy and leadership style.

Reagan would never do something like attempting to pack the Supreme Court.

Neither were good presidents to me. I guess FDR...though it makes my stomach hurt.

I find this one to be odd. Reagan made every attempt he could to imitate FDR's management style, but unlike FDR, who's chaotic management style pitted advisors against each other, FDR was always in charge, and always knew what was going on. Reagan on the other hand, delegated authority, and was notoriously out of the loop at times... See Iran Contra.

FDR gets my vote, as there were only two real things he did that irritated me. The Court packing plan and the Japanease internment, whereas Reagan's policies in general irk me.

FDR, obviously, and of course he would win in a landslide in 1932 - try to picture Reagan peddling his individualistic nonsense in that time period!  Such pap only sells when the masses have been enriched by liberalism and mistakenly think they're the bourgeoisie.

The scary thing is, would FDR have won in 1980 or 1984?!

Agreed, though at the time I would have voted for FDR.  Reagan wasn't old enough to run for President in 1932 Wink
