SE July Initiative voting and Lt. Gov. Special Election

Voting opens at midnight Central Time (1 a.m. Eastern Time) on Friday, July 21, 2006.  Votes cast before then will not be counted  Voting will end at 11:59 pm Central Time on Sunday, July 23 (12:59 am Eastern Time on Monday, July 24).

This election shall be conducted in strict accordance with the Southeastern Election Regulations.  You must be an eligible, registered voter of the Southeastern Region during the entire time this election is open in order for your vote to be valid.  Editing a ballot disqualifies it after 15 minutes have passed.  All discussion of the election should be conducted in a separate thread.

The Southeast Region uses approval voting for regional elections.  List all persons of whom you approve for Lieutenant Governor; no preference order is necessary.  In the event that multiple candidates should be tied for most approvals, a runoff will be held.  Voters may write in the name of any Southeast resident in addition to or instead of the candidates on this ballot.

The election this month is a special election for Lieutenant Governor.  The term will last for 1 month, unless Initiative 143 passes, in which case it will last for two months.
