I am Laurie Dhue, we now go live to Stow, Ohio to a speech by Presidential Candidate Reaganfan. He has asked for air-time on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and FOX. And... Reaganfan:

Ladies and gentleman, the Forum needs steady and great leadership. I can do that. However, it needs someone with experence. For me, I was Secretary of the Senate for a week. For StevenNick, Senator.

I will run for president in the future, maybe after being governor or a Senator. But, I have to put the priorities of the forum first, and myself last. To all my supporters, I am sorry for letting you down. As the Governor of California has said, "I WILL BE BACK." I ask PBrunsel, to still back me as a friend. I am sorry. My THOUGHTS always were, "I don't want to hurt my friend." PBrunsel worked so hard. He should still be Vice President. My dream ticket is now a StevenNick/PBrunsel ticket.

Nevertheless, I ask all of my fans and supporters, to gather around StevenNick for President. PBrunsel, I ask you. Please don't be mad. I am so sorry. I am serious. We had great plans for the forum. But the GOP will die. We can not allow that to happen. Paul, thank you. I have never had such a fun time working so hard. We will do it in the future. FUN. It is all make believe. PBrunsel, for Reagan, let's just have fun on the forum, and not be angry. I ask for your forgiveness. PLEASE PAUL.

As for all the people who dispised me, well, using the quote from a past nobody who later became a great leader, "YOU WON'T HAVE REAGANFAN TO PUSH AROUND ANYMORE."

I wish the best for the forum. And I know, you ain't seen nothing yet. Accordingly, I shall drop out of the race for president at 8:35 pm EST. Thank you, and may god Bless America and the Atlas Forum.

I appologize to you Reaganfan for being angry. I put much work and organization into the campaign, but you did what you felt was rught, and I can't be angry about that.

Be nice Boss.

It was probably the right move Reagan.  Someone had to make the move to start to unite the GOP party.

With Reaganfan out of the race, it seems I will not be vice president, the job I have been campaigning for since early April.

Well so be it, to quote Herbert Hoover, "Democracy is a harsh employer."

Well you could always run for Senate.  I don't think you'd win, though, you're about the only conservative in this district, except maybe John Engle.  You might get the UAC vote, ILV, Gustaf...

There is still the write-in candidacy that you can pursue. I personally will write you in for all vice Presidency slots, as indicated in another thread

Yeah, thats basically the reason I don't run, I think Hughento is doing a fine job and I don't want to oppose him.  Same with Texasgurl.

We need a regional constitution.  Talk to ILV.

Had I been governor I would have gotten that Constitution written within a week of my inauguration.

I guess i'll talk with Ilikeverin.
