I kind of like Uruguay, insofar as I've never been there. I'll probably take a trip to Montevideo in a few years, when I'm out of school.

A perfectly pleasant, poquito, precious país.

I really liked it, a lot. Fray Bentos is nice enough, Colonia kinda dull, but Montevideo is fantastic and the countryside stunning; and the best sunsets i´ve ever seen were in western uruguay and the entre rios/santa fe area of argentina.

Basically, it's South America's hidden gem. Go there!

Puerto Iguazu, hot and sunny in the middle of winter. The falls are nice. Tonight I head to Corrientes-I was planning on going to Ciudad del Este, in Paraguay, but you need to go through Brazil and I don´t have a visa.

Nice little place by all accounts, recovered well from the nasty left-wing and right-wing elements that plagued it during the Cold War.
