No you can't be anything but impressed with her answers.  I really want McCaskill to win; I am most passionate about her campaign more than any other Democratic candidate in this cycle.  With her attention to rural voters in Missouri and Talent's lacklustre record I believe she can win.

Talents passion for increasing healthcare in America has been rewarded by the drug companies; $5m - thats the difference between McCaskill and Talent.

The Democrats should be sending her money instead of wasting it in Connecticut, Virginia and Arizona.

I forgot about that (although I'm sure he accepts donations).  I was just trying to think of races that are pretty much unwinnable that the Democrats think they can still pick up.  Perhaps Nevada would have been a better example.

She won support from Boxer's PAC.
http://ga4.org/pacforachange/senate_vote.html

And of course she deserves help as the least likely to win Democrat who still has a very good chance.

I think she has a slightly better chance to win than Brown in Ohio.  She's already proven that she has pretty strong statewide appeal, while Brown's appeal is limited to a liberal Cleveland congressional district.  Talent is also much more conservative than DeWine.

It's still only July, dummies. The DSCC is going to pour lots of money into this race in the coming months.

She's not "on her own".

I'd focus on:

1. Ohio
2. Missouri
3. Rhode Island
4. Virginia
5. Minnesota
6. Tennessee
7. Montana (needs less focus since victory is likely)
8. Pennsylvania (needs less focus since victory is likely)
9. Arizona (needs less focus since Pederson can run himself)

not New Jersey; just surrender it to Kean and put the money elsewhere

I'm telling you, Virginia is definitely not unwinnable for the Democrats.

I suppose it's possible if George Allen ends up getting outted (awhile back the guy that outted the VA Beach congressman last year said he was going to out a GOP Senator up for reelection sometime before November), but the  Democrats should focus on races where they aren't down by 10-20 points.

Agreed. I think Virginia is probably our 6th best pickup opportunity ahead of Tennessee. I think Ford will get close, but I just don't see him being able to get over 50% in a state as conservative as Tennessee.
