But why?  Isn't the District now more Democratic than it was in 2004?  I thought Barrow was a good fit for the District - I realise one poll means very little but surely this year Barrow would be unlikely to be defeated.

But this race after Sonny Perdue won the election in 2002 was made more republican after it was gerrymandered for Dems by the former governor Roy Barnes when Barrow first won in 2002.

Yes it is, done by Public Opinion Strategies for Max Burns (R). 

Yet again, I am asking for partisan caveats when done by partisan pollsters.  If posters cannot do this, they should be banned from posting in these forums.

I assume you mean Marshall. Barrow was elected in 2004.
I would assume he means Burns, actually. Burns won the district in 2002.

It is legitimate to list it, but if the poll was conducted FOR one of the candidates, this fact should definitely be mentioned.
