This is crazily close, but what is more shocking is the Governor race.  Course the winner will lose to Rell, but is the Conn. Democratic Party really divided?

Joe Mo just gained about 1 K votes on Lamont.  My guess is the party establishment is holding back his vote.
Doesn't the party establishment back Lieberman?

Bingo!  They hold it back.  It makes their guy look like an underdog and it forms a "cushion," knowing how well the opponent is doing in his strong areas.

Yes, it is but the Dems might as well run a real donkey against Rell

Turnout in Hartford was reportedly 80%; that would usually indicate enthusiasm for one candidate.  But who in this case?

People are starting to call it for Lamont.

If Lieberman has any decency left, he will be endorsing the Democratic primary winner.

Lamont has had another little bump; Manchester went 57% for him and declared in one go.

82.6% reporting

Lamont 51.8%
Lieberman 48.2%

I wouldn't call this one quite yet, if what is said about urban areas is true.

I really hope Democrats turn out in droves for the general election like they have for this primary.

We need to win 2 of the 3 house seats in CT.

People are starting to call it for Lamont.

The numbers are such that it would require Lieberman sweeping Hartford in order to win.  I doubt this happens, but I'd like to see the numbers first.

Its now 8400 votes, even with Hartford, it looks like a bit too much for Lieberman to make up

83.6% reporting

Lamont 51.9%
Lieberman 48.1%

Looks like more residual areas reporting.  I'd still wait on Hartford, but I'd say it ain't looking good for Lieberman.

Right now, Lieberman would have the win the rest of the results @ 60-40 clip in order to come back.  I give that a low percentage of happening, even with the places left.

Most of the heavily Lamont areas have reported.

The remainder would have to be pretty heavily Lieberman.  I'm not sure the remainder is all that pro-Lieberman.  It's pretty much been stagnant since about 60%.

ID-CN?

Do you mean I-CT or is this a code I don't understand?

People are calling it for Lamont based upon precincts that haven't reported yet.

Of course it's not over until the Connecticut For Lieberman party sings.
