The closest I could come to Huntington Station is "Long Island", which is terribly inaccurate because Long Island is hardly a signle entity.  You have the ghettos in Brentwood and the rich whites in Montauk all grouped together, and that won't produce an accurate statistic.  For the record, it's 44.  I'll try to find a more localized one.

There are many, if you look for them.  My mom used to work in Hempstead, which is a majority-minority ghetto, as it Brentwood.  But I suppose the suburban white majority dwarfs the hispanic and black minority when taking Nassau and Suffolk county as a whole.  Huntington Station is kind of a mix of the Brentwoods and the Hamptons.  We have many uppity rich white Catholics and Jews, as well and an influx of hispanics and many blacks.

Nassau County was listed as the safest county in the United states last year, with Suffolk not far behind.  Nassau-Suffolk the lowest crime rate of any metro area.

Even the ghettos of Long Island aren't that far above the National Crime rate, and WELL below what other areas with similar demographics have
