I assume you are simply saying which of the current incumbents would fit into the districts, not who would actually win with those lines. Walberg, for example, wouldn't have a prayer of winning a district that included Ann Arbor.

But it's an excellent map, RBH. Much better than our horrid current map, that's for sure.

Yeah, I'm just listing which incumbent is in that district.

Oh yeah, here's the population splits for the split counties

Calhoun: 8783 in CD9, 129202 in CD13
Clinton: 12521 in CD12, 52232 in CD13
Grand Traverse: 8232 in CD14, 69422 in CD15
Macomb: 57497 in CD5, 662563 in CD6, 68089 in CD7
Newaygo: 20702 in CD13, 27172 in CD14
Oakland: 589090 in CD4, 605066 in CD5
Ottawa: 150086 in CD9, 88228 in CD10
Saginaw: 131756 in CD7, 78283 in CD8
Washtenaw: 212779 in CD11, 110116 in CD12
Wayne: 662563 in CD1 and CD2 and CD3, 73473 in CD4

So, who wants Ann Arbor more, Rogers or Walberg?

Brief analysis of the unsplit counties reveals

54% Bush in CD15, 51% Bush in CD14

Don't know, but Walberg would get it; he's more junior.

The Constitution only requires you to be a resident of the state that you are running from, not necessarily the district.

While this might seem illogical and wrong in many ways, it actually does have a significant advantage in that you can't simply draw someone out of a district with gerrymandering and force them to either move or run in a different district.
