Very favorable. I could most definitely see him as a future part of a Democratic ticket, though 2008 would probably be a bit soon for that.

i dont really have an opinon of him one way or the other.

however, his popularity among the silly populists on this board does make me a little wary.

Massive Freedom Fighter.  It'll be nice to see Democrats control the state house, governor's mansion, and both Senate seats in Montana this November.

He's probably a bit libertarian-leaning, even if he runs like a populist.

I agree.  However a Democrat who wins in Montana can't be bad.

By the way, Spitzer will be the best governor come 2007.

Haha!  Don't count on it.  What's considered "the best" by New Yorkers is usually, well, not.

Schweitzer's fine.

Please.  Being from New Jersey, you can hardly talk.  Spitzer has done more to combat corruption (hardly something I can say for NJ politicians Roll Eyes) and help the underdogs than any previous official in New York government. 

Spitzer will be a serious contender for president, he already has national name recognition.
