Yes, whoever intentionally kills someone should receive the death penalty.  Heck, and who plans to kill someone and does anything more than wishful thinking to carryout those plans should receive the death penalty.  No other crime causes a person to receive a lesser sentence just because they f'ed up whie trying to do it.

Arenīt MN and ND states without the death penalty ? Or will he probably get a federal one ? And no, he should not get a death sentence. They should put him into prison for the rest of his life.

Because of the kidnapping it's a Federal case, not a State one.

If he would get really locked away forever with no TV and no library and no air conditioning in summer and none of the other things that many people throughout the world who have done nothing wrong do not have... then lock him up. IF... he is going to get parole possibilities and cushy hotel like accomodations... put him in with the regular bad asses with a sign on him that says "I LOVE killing kids (and anal sex, too!). He won't last long.

Yes, this animal is an obvious candidate for the death penalty.
