Federal - Democrat

State - Democrat (though I did vote for Ehrlich in 2002)

Local - Mostly Democrat, but it depends on the office.  For offices like Sheriff, States Attorney, or Circuit Court I vote for the man (or woman) not the party.

At the presidential level, almost always Democrat. Reagan in 1984 would've been the last time I would've voted GOP in a presidential level.

Senate/House - Democrat 90% of the time, at least with the way Congress has been recently.

Governorship - Completely nonpartisan position, from my perspective. Probably 50/50.

Local Races - Almost all Republican.

Almost all Democratic.

The moderate Republicans are being forced out of the state party by conservatives, and if they somehow get the Republican nomination, the conservatives will run a candidate against them usually swinging the seat to the Democrats (like my state senate seat Smiley)

I've voted for all Democrats for major offices so far since I became eligible to vote.

Republican.  Because ethics and integrity matter.

Given the state of the federal GOP, I found this particularly hilarious.

Did not notice that, again I just overlook things and type as fast as I can (as is evident by my Steve Lonegan is a racist quote), in that case majority Republican, unless its a Lincoln Chafee vs. Ben Nelson type race.

But given the state of the Tennessee Democratic Party, it's the only logical choice.

Bob "I'm a flip-flopping, tax hiking, ethically challenged pathological prevaricator" Corker is a paragon of virtue? And I don't think Governor Bredesen is a crook.

I don't support Corker, and he is a flip fliopper on abortion and did raise taxes (which I don't care much about), but I wouldn't say he's any less ethical than most anybody in DC. I'm not aware of any real lies that he's told either.

Conan makes a good point w/town.  I have an excellent example:

When of the Democratic women running in my town was a lifelong Republican, he father is ultra-conservative head of the town UNICO, yet the Dems gave her an oppurtunity to run.

I think I will support her only because these come up in 2009 when I turn 18, and I don't want to have to win a primary battle.

Taking competitive races since 2002:

2002:
Governor: Fisher (R)

2004:
President: Bush (R)
Senate: Clymer (C)
AG: Corbett (R)
Treasurer: Casey (D)
Auditor: Peters (R)

2006:
Senate: Santorum (R)
House: Sherwood (R)
State Senate: McNamara (D)

So, 6 Republicans, 2 Democrats, and 1 Constitution. Mostly Republican.

If I could, I'd vote Democrat for the most part. At the presidential level, I'd have voted Democrat with the exception of Nixon in 1972. Though, there may be the odd Republican, I kinda like in retrospect but given that I'd have still been voting against Sherman, they wouldn't have stood a cat in hells chance of getting my vote

Further down the ballot, I suspect I'd vote Democrat for the most part too. Though I'd be open to persuasion from an economically moderate Republican, if the Democratic candidate was dire
