Yeah, me and JCar are basically the same candidate
Not really.
Definitely no.
and probably have more working class appeal.
I doubt it.  You're from Suffolk County.  That's a bigger blow than Nassau right there.

Joe,

In my case (it seems right now I've got the GOP's liberal wing, whatever thats worth locked up)...I'm wondering, in the general...would it be possible for someone to pull an Anderson?

You bastard.

Mom,

Give Andrew his account back.

But in all seriousness...why do you think so...I think you're hitting the right libertarian wing of the party...think I'm more angled at the left libertarian, miniscule liberal Rockefeller wing. whats the gripe?

Why do you both oppose raising the minimum wage?

For me, its not a neener neener keep the poor down thing. I see the minimum wage as a price floor (which I'm against anyways)...I see it also as a cause of unemployment (surplus labor because theres no equilibrium wage)...and a feel good measure which only causes inflation without helping anyone really. At least in my humble opinion.

I'm more infavor of increasing the buying power of the poor, and giving them the means to get out of the bottom rather than making sure that at the bottom they're "more comfortable."

Prices are my main enemy.

Hmmm, well I believe there are certain wages that workers deserve.  And I don't think it really spawns inflation more than a negligible amount.  Only requirement I would make is that teenagers, until the are finally freed from the fascist grasp of their parents, are not subject to a minimum wage.

Interesting repsonses.  I forgot to add I wouldn't apply the minimum wage to small business either.  A certain number of employees would kick in the minimum wage.  I just figured you guys would at least be neutral.

10 hours fundraising please.  Show my face in Iowa, pick up some cash.

Does the content of our speech have an effect?  Or can we just say "abortion speech".

I'd like to make a speech.

I has become clear that our great nation is far too dependent on foreign oil.  Not only are gas prices horribly high, we know that the money used to buy this oil in turn goes into the hands of nations that sponsor terrorism.  We must effectivle turn away from this oil and replace it with something reliable grown right here in the heart of America, our corn fields.  Ethanol will soon become an integral part of running our great nation, and I see Iowa at the forefront.  I urge Iowans to unite behind the Democrat that will fight for ethanol throughout his term in office.  Carlos Gonzalez for President!

As soon as everybody's campaigns have been posted.  But if we're waiting unreasonably long for one or two candidates, I'll just close it.

Can we make the deadline midnight tonight or tomorrow?  It has been awhile.  I'd like to get on to New Hampshire.

Don't be mad at other people just because you don't have a life.

Tongue.  No, I just believe everyone who plans to post did and all we're doing is just waiting and waiiting for people to add on to what they did as they see what others did.  It probably won't end if he doesn't cut it off.

And I hardly would say I don't have a life.

This was certainly a surprisingly good result.  I am quite pleased I could win such support among Iowans.  I am a little surprised Hardin beat me by 6 points, but hey, whatever.  I am ready for New Hampshire.

How long do we have to answer for the debates? I really don't feel like writing all this up tonight, I'm having writers block of a sort and I'm pretty tired.

These debates will probably take awhile and that kind of sucks.  maybe we could limit it to one question? No more than two?  I see the importance of a debate, but it too difficult over the internet with so many candidates.  We should at least be able to start doing our NH campaigning in the process.

I can't write ads or speeches during the school year.  Too much to do.  If anyone wants to do it for me It'd be appreciated (I'd also donate my money to them if I lose).

I'm going to have to drop out. I just haven't had the time to write speeches, ads, debate responses and the like. However, thanks for setting up the game, Joe. It's pretty nice.

The fact that we actually have to write them really detracts from the game.

1)It takes a serious tame that most people don't have

2)It is very unrealistic since candidates of course don't write their own speeches and especially don't write their own ads

Arizona:
Level 2 Organization
100 hrs gen campaigning

Delaware:
Level 3 Organization
50 hrs gen camp

New Mexico:
Level 3 Organization
50 hrs gen camp

Missouri:
Level 1 org

South Carolina:
Level 2 org

Can I just say "ad" and does it still count?  Cause you charged me for on in NH despite me never being able to write it.

I won't be able to write any, but 1 Level 3 ad in all those places expect Missouri (Level 1) and South Carolina (Level 2).

And 150 hrs fundraising.

Question: Joe, does political ideology have anything to do whatsoever with the states we're campaigning in?

You would've though, but after Craddock's 2nd place finish in NH, I guess not.

Pretty distant second.

It was still second.  All that matter is he beat Liberals and Libertarians in Libertarian state while being a Populist.

I guess I should attempt an ad.  By the way, you misunderstood my post.  I meant in the places that I'd mentioned.  I am not campaigning in North Dakota and Oklahoma, so don't run ads there please.  Sorry these ads are lame, but I guess I need something.

AD 1-Diplomacy

VO: As Secretary of State, Carlos Gonzalez was instrumental  in forging peace and expanding diplomany worldwide

<collage of video footage of me shaking hands with leaders, at peace confs, you know>

VO:He fought to protect families from the horrors of war by using the power of words, not guns

VO:This Tuesday, vote for Carlos Gonzalez to return to a peaceful and secure America

Ya, run that one Tongue.

Important Speech:

I hereby pleadge to endorse, not including Rep. Nighthawk, whoever places last in Tennessee.  I am doing this because Tennessee is a crappy state and deserves to have a campaign meant to demean and terrorize it.  DEATH TO THE SOUTH!  Democrats should never give the South the time of day!  All Southerners are ignorant hicks!  IO seriously hope the Dmeocratic candidate this election will not have his victory marred by winning an evil Southern state.  Thank you for your time.
