I figure I might as well mention that the next election for the position of Governor will be held on October 8-10.

Really?  Cause the office holders thread says its the weekend of Oct. 2.

It was, or it still might be, but we had to have a Runoff election pushing Andrew and my joint term a week back. I suppose Andrew and I could hold the eletion on the 2nd. I just added 4 months to when we were elected. You're probably right though.

It was my understanding that the fact that we had a runoff in no way changed the date of the next election.
