The Klobuchar ad is very good at the end.  I bet Kennedy will regret seeing that.

This is the worst campaign ad of the cycle. It features two ornery old men sitting on a porch talking about how "liberal" Joe Donnelly is. At the end of the ad, when the bald man asks the orange haired man whether he's voting for Donnelly, the orange haired man responds, "noooo."

http://indianaonmessage.com/in2_chocola_porch.shtml

This ad explains why Rep. Chocola's down double digits in the polls.

Terrible ad IMO; the old men just appear nascent and unpleasant.  Also, there not even Southern accents but this strange raspy kind of tone - and what was the point of it?

A really good ad; Tester is becoming such an inspiring candidate and I think he'll make a great Senator.

I saw that Friday in my elections class, the professor was showing some ads from all the candidates. He also showed Steele's "Steele Hates Puppies" ad that he said a former classmate who now lives in Maryland emailed to him. The class (which is about 75% Democrats at least) afterwords even admitted it was a really good ad.

Please tell me that God-awful piece of trash did not actually air on TV. That was the most annoying ad I have ever seen in my life.

The guy who told me about it lives in Omaha and said it's been hitting the airwaves there.

He may have a legitimate attack on Nelson, but it's hard to discern it when all that's going through your head is "WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TURN THAT DAMN MUSIC OFF!".

Yep, Tester has shown that you can be proud of your Democratic values and win anywhere.  His campaign has been kind of a blueprint for red-state Dems.

You are correct. I should've said Tester shows how Democrats can win in the Western red states.

Wyoming and Idaho has competitive congressional races going on in 2006, actually.

was it the second or first district that had a democrat leading in one of the polls. I had some optimistic hope for Brady.... but I haven't heard much good news on that front. I still think Cubin is in a lot of trouble....

The Pete Ricketts campaign messed up their chances to attack Nelson on a quite important and legitimate issue.  That ad was annoying and unclear.
