It is very hard to tell where the votes are coming in from right now, but I would predict that Mont. Co. and Baltimore City report last, probably in that order.

Has Baltimore (the city) reported yet?

If all races from a location are reported at the same time, no. You'll notice Circuit Court Judge results from Baltimore City are not in yet.

Nick - Who's your guy in the 6th District Primary?

Al Wynn looks to be cruising:

4th District (D) Primary)
Wynn - 56
Kos Nut - 40

Do we have any reliable results from AZ-08 yet?  That's the other big race of the evening.

I'm hearing the NRCC has sent their ground troops to increase turnout for Huffman. I guarantee Graf will win because Hellon and Huffman are splitting the moderate vote.

Jake, his name is Ron Schaefer.  He's finished and will probably end up in 6th out of 8.  The ticket (incumbents) were just too strong.

Mark my words, if both Mfume and Simms lose tonight, O'Malley and Cardin are going to have a very rough 2 months.

African Americans are not going to turn out for a O'Malley/Cardin/Gansler/WHITECOMPTROLLER ticket.

Probably, but Im watching the evening news and apparently the numbers that are in arent from Baltimore City, so we'll see.

Point still stands, Mfume and Simms lose, O'Malley will probably lose and Cardin will have a hell of a fight against Steele (Mfume would have, too, but at least race would have been off the table).

That's an interesting anaylsis, Nick; I sincerely hope you're wrong (as do you, probably Smiley) Nevertheless, I assume that both Cardin and O'Malley will make significant attempts to reach out to the black community. Let's hope their efforts pay off.

In all honesty though, I simply cannot see Cardin losing to Steele, not in 2006.
