John Dibble and Bacon King all the time.  You and KEmperor quite often, but he doesn't really post any more.  Colin Wixted and Supersoulty.  Alcon and Jesus.

It's pretty much all to do with people having the same avatars for me.  I realize that there are far more 'R-PA's than just Colin and Super, but for some reason those two are the only ones I get mixed up.

I used to get Citizen James and Jfern confused alot when Jfern posted here. I always also seem to confuse bullmoose and nini.

Yea, posters with the same avatar, I get confused. The only exception is the D-PA's. Cynic and Flyers just have quite different posting styles, I guess.

I've actually looked at some of Dibble's post, and went "Wait.. I didn't say that.. OH! it's Dibble." I've been thinking for a while that I may shift over to I-GA, just to end the confusion.

That's pretty much the reason why I switched to the Switzerland avatar so as to avoid confusion. I guess me and Super sound alot alike when we post.

I never confuse you with anybody else, Nick.  Probably because we're friends.  You're on my list of people whose posts and topics I make it a point to read, and I never confuse the people on that list.

I also have a list of people whose topics and posts I generally make it a point not to read, and I rarely confuse those either.

With the group in the middle, I sometimes confuse people with similar names.  For some reason, I confuse the opinions of Ebowed and Frodo sometimes.  I tend to think of them together for some reason.  But for the most part, I don't confuse posters with each other.

but now i see big diffferences between you two.  you are a little less populist than frodo.

actually, frodo is a republican who just hasnt realized it yet.

I should think you'd want to keep the "silly populists" out of the Republican Party.

Anyway, I'm actually not exactly the reincarnation of William Jennings Bryan.  I understand the benefits of free trade, and I believe that it many cases it can be a good thing for the economy.  However, a completely laissez-faire economy would see the emergence of a few oligopolies and conglomerates that pretty much control everything.  Completely unfettered free trade would also be disastrous to thousands of American workers and small businesses.  So there must be some government control in the economy, but obviously not complete control, because that would greatly inhibit its growth.

politics makes strange bedfellows.

ive no problem with silly populists being republican....so long as they vote for the normal people too (ie lincoln chafee, chris shays, etc)

For some reason, I confuse the opinions of Ebowed and Frodo sometimes.  I tend to think of them together for some reason.

How is that possible?  I can see people getting me confused with Virginian87...but Ebowed?
