Montana should be a lesson to Democrats on how to win.

I would like to not so subtly take my plaudits for predicting that Tester would win 54%-45%; and it now appears to be heading this way. There is no reason to expect Burns to make a comeback, if anything, his campaign has the feeling of sinking even further.

More of a lesson how to do nothing and still win.
Tester is an awful campaigner, but Burns makes stupid comment after stupid comment, still not coming to write him off, but Tester is the favorite.

Calling Tester an awful campaigner is laughable and absurdly partisan even by your standars.

Not really. The last thing we need in this party is a bunch of lazyasses that think they can win 100% of the time because the GOP candidate screws up a lot. We had that in John Kerry and look how far it got us.

On the GOP side, for 2016, look out for Gov. Phill Kline (KS), Gov. Ralph Reed (GA), Gov. JD Hayworth (AZ), Sen. David Vitter (LA), among others.

I can't believe Montana is going to have an anti-war Senator and New York doesn't even have one. I gotta move to Montana.

And you're a little fifteen year-old who has yet to earn the respect of anyone on this forum.

Tester is an awful campaigner.
That's a pretty hard case to argue... the man has got to have built one of the strongest Democrat campaign organisations MT has ever seen, he will have zero trouble getting his vote out in November, Burns has in the past shown tenacity in his campaigns but this time around, and as things stand at the moment... I dont see how anyone could argue that Burns' campaign is stronger than Tester's (though Burns did have a good website).

Tester is an awful campaigner
That's why he shocked the pundits and won the Democratic primary with over 60% of the vote.
