8:21 PM EST:

With 17% of precincts reporting, CNN projects the winner of the NH Primary to be John Kerry.

Fight on for third between Clark and edwards.

Boston Globe's results are a bit old; they have only 14% reporting. But in that 14%, Edwards is beating clark by around 20 votes Tongue

Very close indeed

Dean took another big blow today, reports had him ahead or closing the gap........pffft

Dean took a big blow, now they'll start losing faith.

still 30% of the precincts need to report, but Dean is down by 14 points!

Edwards desperately needs SC, it all comes down to this.

This is a disappointment for Edwards. It was already thought to be one for Dean before today, but it looked like Edwards would really build on Iowa, but he didn't.

the whole race was built up to be kerry vs. dean so I think most voters almost felt like they had to vote for 1 of them.

now edwards is wounded, dean is severly wounded. Clark is in 3rd but it's still a lame duck 3rd at 13%.

Why did edwards even bother in NH

I guess this next week is when things get really exciting, you can't look back. No time to dwell.

Edwards didn't really bother with NH, he is reported to have said that he "wished he didn't have to go there" to Rep. Clyburn.

He needs SC, but as the latest poll there gives him a 15% lead over Clark, that shouldn't be very difficult.

This hurts Dean and Lieberman though...

Edwards only had to go there because of Clark. He could have left Iowa and went straight to SC. He just didn't want Clark to have a strong third place finish in NH.  Clark is the best thing to happen to Kerry-- better than Dean.  Dean had a monopoly on college voters before Clark. Clark stole half of them from Dean. Dean would have easily been 5 points shy of Kerry without Clark.

Thinking about it, is it possible that Micheal Moore did Dean in?
Hah! Irony... Wink
