Will this hurt Rosendale in his primary? MT Treasurer seems to be rooting for Rosendale, yet obsessed with 2022 at the same time.

He will win the primary and general, even if Trump endorses another Republican.

Love how this article ignores an obvious factor in the 2022 result-Trump toxifying the party's image.
Quote
Although Republicans won control of the House in 2022, they expected a lot more than 222 Republicans to 213 Democrats divide that they achieved. But a combination of poor Republican candidates and the power of abortion as a political issue helped buoy Democrats, staving off the so-called “red wave” that Republicans had expected.

Really now, the idea that 'poor candidates' mattered in the House just doesn't pass the smell test.

This could hurt him in the primary - I’ve always thought Trump would endorse Sheehy. Sheehy is also a stronger general election candidate, though I believe either would beat Tester. Tester is the real loser here.

So if Republicans won something like 224 seats that'd be a red wave? LOL.

Sarah Palin. Bruce Poliquin. Jim Bognet. Madison Gilbert. Sandy Smith. Bo Hines. Paul Junge. Karoline Leavitt.

Just to name some other notables. The Democrat might have won regardless against a stronger opponent in some of these districts, but the point still stands. Candidate quality was bad for Republicans in the House. Just not as noticeable as it was in the higher profile gubernatorial and Senate races.
