I have to say yes-contrasting to last spring.
People are nicer.  More interesting topics are being posted.  More fun games are on the forum.  Things are looking up, I say.

Well, we've gotten a flood of ultra-partisan folks from both sides since the spring.

I am ultra-partisan, I definetly wouldn't be supporting Harold Ford and Ben Nelson, but not Lincoln Chafee, I'm a idealogue

I vote for candidates based on whether or not they agree w/me, I also don't present lies, opinions, but never lies like Conan.

Activity is on the upswing since September started if that's what you mean.  We're still below where we were a year ago in that department however.

hell yeah.  I miss rightwingnut sometimes.  And MarkDel's caustic and amusing rants.  And I miss the measured comments of the wise MortfromNewYawk.  But really over the past three years we now have moderators other than Dave, which must be a relief for him, and most of the trolls are either accepted as non-destructive but annoying, or have been bounced if they're they're the destructive variety.  There are also fantasy politic boards, and a complete reorganization so you can go slumming in boutique boards, if that's what you're into, or stay straight and discuss important domestic and foreign political policies and elections.  There's room for everyone.  And, best of all, it's still free therapy.  Kudos to Dave Liep.

Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 2 contradict each other.  Also, neither of them were particularly coherent.

Opebo is by far the most entertaining poster on here. I make sure to read all his posts.

The board has probably picked up because it's election season again.

Neither do I. Frankly there's nothing entertaining to me about ignorance and bigotry or most trolls, whichever opebo happens to be.

"I am ultra-partisan" kinda signifies that you find the label to be important.  I can't make sense of the rest of that incoherent sentence, except that you "definetly [sic] wouldn't be supporting Harold Ford and Ben Nelson", despite being two people who you might find quite a lot in common with.

It's sad when I see people say they admire him or find what he has to say interesting.  When somebody thinks like that, it really calls all their opinions into question.

You're such an old man, Mr. A...err D....Opebo's like the Fonz...kinda too old to be hanging around doing what he's doing...but totally lovable in a very amusing sort of way...

I mean, he's already jumped the shark....
