With the Democrats expected to gain seats in both chambers of Congress in November, will the Flag Desecration Amendment still be introduced in  the 110th Congress? If so, how close will it get to passing?

As far as the Senate goes, I know Sherrod Brown and Harold Ford would vote for the Amendment and Ben Cardin would vote against it (based on their vote in the House), but how would Klobuchar, McCaskill, Whitehouse, Casey, and Tester vote?

Yes it will be introduced and have numerous co-sponsors.  As for whether it gets any farther than to die in committee, that will depend on who has control.  I expect that it will have zero chance of reaching a floor debate in the Democratic House unless it is passed by the Senate, which isn't going to happen, regardless of whether it is a Democratic or Republican Senate.  It may reach the Senate floor, even in a Democratic Senate, but it won;t be approved.

Of course it will be intoduce.  It is and always will be political posturing for the Republicans.

I'd think Klobuchar and Whitehouse would vote against it and the other 3 for it, simply by necessity to stay in favor in their states.

Tester is on the record of being against it.
