Americans by and large are ready for a CHANGE!  They want some AUDACITY OF HOPE, and Obama and Clinton are ready to give it to them after 8 years of non-stop war, sexism, and racism.  Think about it: a war in Iraq that is killing our soldiers and wasting BILLIONS of dollars down the drain, the American people will NOT vote for another Republican or a Democrat "moderate" (code word for JUST ANOTHER REPUBLICAN).

Americans will rush out in droves to vote for a smooth, strong, good looking black man who talks, acts, and looks real good.  It will be SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING DIFFERENT and whats more exciting is Hillary Clinton as Vice President and Vice Commander in Chief, a historic moment for America!   Almost all women and all minorities will vote for a Obama/Clinton ticket and we will get many Republicans too who want a black man as president FINALLY!

I think Obama and Clinton can win!

TrueBlue is actually TheresNoMoney's alter ego.  Its embarrasing sharing the same political party with folks like these, but what can you do, eh?  The GOP also has its fair share of idiots and illiterate dolts

Please check the IP. It's certainly not me.

I would bet it's one of the GOP posters already on this board.

Clinton will never take a VP position.  Its Clinton at the top or no Clinton at all for her.  Edwards would also likely shun a VP nod considering how well it went for him last time.  Obama is the only one of the "frontrunners" who would probably even consider it.

And almost all white males will vote for the other guy. Like I said, look at where Vice-president Ferraro has gone.

Why does this always come up? What does Geraldine Ferraro's gender have to do with Walter Mondale being a terrible candidate? People don't vote for Vice President.

Would it be a 'personal attack' to recognize that you are a sexist?

I think the country "might" be ready to elect a woman president.  I think the country "might" be ready to elect an african-american president.  But, I do not think the country is ready to accomplish both of these historic feats on the same ticket.

It is very important for both Clinton and Obama to demonstrate that they can lead white/male America (and America globally).  That starts with having a strong, white male VP candidate on the stump encouraging America to vote for the top of the ticket.  Without this, the candidate risks being a novelty side show lacking the gravitas to lead the free world.
