3. There are numerous examples throughout world history of minorities who were discriminated against under the law who dominated nations' economies. It would be pretty hard to argue that that was the result of 'discrimination' against the majority.
Yes a good example of this is modern day Malaysia. The 30% of the country which is ethnic Chinese controls most of the economy and always has. They were the traders and merchants in prior eras and now they are everything from corporate leaders to small-town shopowners. However they are highly descriminated against by the Malaysian government which openly favours the Malay majority in all government positions, through affirmative action programs and law.
Jews prior to the 20th century also held this position as did many other so called Middleman minorities around the world who usually held economic power and capital while being descriminated against by the majority population.
