Why in the world would I want to endorse a Republican in this day and age? You'd have to be crazy to help Republicans keep control of the Senate.

I had a vague recollection of that...ah, damn. Then, hm...let's switch it to GOP then, to make up for the Clinton endorsement.

Kennedy's ads impressed me, actually. He seems like a good guy.

Inspired by Mitty's thread, who do you support/endorse for Senate?

* Indicates change in party

Arizona: Jon Kyl (R)
California: Diane Feinstein (D)
Connecticut: Joe Lieberman (CFL)*
Delaware: Tom Carper (D)
Florida: Bill Nelson (D)
Hawaii: Cynthia Thielen (R)*
Indiana: Dick Lugar (R)
Maine: Olympia Snowe (R)
Maryland: Undecided but leaning towards Cardin (D)
Massachusetts: Undecided by leaning towards Chase (I don't know a lot about him) (R)*
Michigan: Debbie Stabenow (D)
Minnesota: Mark Kennedy (R)*
Mississippi: Harold Taylor (L)*
Missouri: Claire McCaskill (D)*
Montana: Jon Tester (D)*
Nebraska: Ben Nelson (D)
Nevada: John Ensign (R)
New Jersey: Tom Kean (R)*
New Mexico: Jeff Bingaman (D)
New York: Hillary Clinton (D)
North Dakota: Kent Conrad (D)
Ohio: Mike Dewine (R)
Pennsylvania: Bob Casey, unfortunately (D)*
Rhode Island: Lincoln Chaffee (R)
Tennessee: Harold Ford (D)*
Texas: Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R)
Utah: Orrin Hatch (R)
Vermont: Richard Tarrant (R)*
Virginia: Jim Webb (D)*
Washington: Maria Cantwell (D)
West Virginia: John Raese (R)*
Wisconsin: Herb Kohl (D)
Wyoming: Craig Thomas (R)

Overall I support:
16 Democrats
15 Republicans
1 Connecticut for Lieberman
1 Libertarian

Which would put the Senate at:
55 Republicans
44 Democrats (with Lieberman)
1 Libertarian

I'm going to list my endorsements for all the compettive races out there. THe ones not listed I have decided will be landslides anyway.

AZ - Kyl (R)
CT - Lieberman (U)
MD - Steele (R)
MI - Stabenow (D)
MN - Kennedy (R)
MO - Talent (R)
MT - Tester (D)
NE - Nelson (D)
NJ - Kean (R)
OH - DeWine (R)
PA - Santorum (R) I don't really think he'll win but he's the better candidate
RI - Chaffee (R)
TN - Corker (R) begrudgingly.
VA - Allen (R)
WA - Cantwell (D)

So there you have it, of all the important ones, I support 4 D's, 1 I's, and 10 R's

My predicition for Nov.7
GOP gains:
DEM gains: MT, OH, PA, RI
IND gains: CT
