One of those sad, sad people for whom running for office must count as some form of therapy...

I feel kinda sorry for the guy.  He'll be lucky to scrape 10% in November, and yet the other day he was claiming he was within sight of defeating Lieberman.  As well as the whole fraudulent gambling thing, I only feel pity for him.

But obviously I'm not voting for either of these ridiculously dated poll options.

I find it kinda funny the Lamont is outdoing Schlesinger among Republicans.

I'd feel a lot better in making fun of the guy if he wasn't so obviously troubled.  He's certainly a pathetic candidate.

Positive. I actually like Schlesinger's platform, and would prefer him over Liberals A and B. Funny thing is, Schlesinger in pro-choice and supports troop withdrawal. Maybe he can make that into a talking point later on, who knows. I still think that R next to his name on the ballot will do something for him.

I wouldn't want him anywhere near the US Senate, and fortunately that's exactly where he is.

I do have to feel some sympathy for him though in that he seems to be getting absolutely zero support from his party's establishment.

In other words, had Lieberman won the primary, the Democrat in that race would be more pro-war. I'd actually endorse Schlesinger if that happened.

Horrible Person for being a joke.  If he wasn't, he could take a sizeable portion of the Republican vote and Lamont would win.

HP. A stronger candidate could have put an end to the Leiberman sh**t months ago.

Mr. Gold is the second and third best candidates in the Connecticut Senate race.  He will outperform his poll numbers on election day.

FF for staying in the race even as his own party cowardly deserts him for Lieberman.
