Damn every other Democrat in the country is moving up. What the hell is wrong with this Pederson guy? Kyl isn't even that well liked.

Seriously - and he's spent more than any other challenger! If Kyl won, we could not only retake the majority, but have a nice cushion in the Senate as well. Too bad his campaign sucks so bad.

I suppose Pederson was a rather poor candidate - a state party chairman who never held elective office.  He was talented in funding and supporting the Democratic drive in Arizona in 2002 that led to the election of Janet Napolitano as Governor and Terry Goddard as Attorney General though.  Goddard should have run this year but to be honest I think Pederson ended up as the nominee because there is hardly a Democratic bench at all in Arizona.

University polls are meaningless.  They are always outliners.

Kyle wins easily but this spread is ridiculous.
