This list, like all others, are pointless, because it is based more on activity than on anything else. The most active people (like Walt) end up on all lists, regardless of how reasonable it is.

Please I really want to know how I'm a partisan hack, a conservative ideaolgue maybe

For some people here, "hack" means anybody who holds opinions they don't agree with.  I wouldn't pay too much attention.  Some of the biggest real hacks on here are the most vocal in pinning that designation on others.

That's true up to a point.  My own definition of the term is somebody who holds a belief or loyalty so firmly that even when presented with unwavering facts that are critical of it, they still refuse to change their existing mindset and will defend it to the death.

Quite a few people on here fit into that definition, probably even myself.

I would define a "hack" as someone who can't offer an intellectual defense for their views that makes any sense.  Their views are driven more by attitude than by any coherent set of beliefs.
