Robert Novak has issued his weekly update on the House and Senate. This week he sees Republicans losing 20 seats in the House as opposed to 21 seats last week. He’s moved some races around such as PA7 and WI8.  The former appears to be a goner and the latter appears to have a new chance after a debate where the opponent floundered.

Here are his goners
AZ8, CO7, IA1, IN2, IN8, NC11, NY26, PA7, PA10, TX22

Here are his “leans Democrat”
CT2, CT4, FL16, FL22, IN9, KY4, NM1, OH15, OH18, PA6

In the Senate, Novak sees a gain of four seats for Democrats.  They are PA, RI, OH, and MT.  According to him, Republicans have given up on PA and MT, but still see the slightest of slight chances in OH.  As for Missouri, he still lists that as "leans Republican" due to money available.  Talent has 15 times more money than McCaskill, $4.2 million to $250,000.  That doesn't take into consideration the money that will be spent by the RNC or DSCC though.

I posted an article from The Hill earlier on here that explained that McCaskill trailed so heavily financially because she has spent a lot on huge chunks of advertising in the final two weeks.
