Somewhere deep in his underground lair, Zogby is reading what people think of his polls and is chanting to himself,

"TOO DEMOCRATIC??  I'll show them!  I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!  AHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

These polls are good for a quick laugh, but not much else.

We have reached collectively, in a bi-partisan way,  the clear and obvious consensus position.

Zogby just simply is no longer a serious pollster.

These get filed with "Pete's Burger Emporiums Double Cheeseburger Deluxe Poll" - interesting but utterly unreliable as a tool for predicting election outcomes.

That being said, Zogby's internet polls were actually mildly less detached from reality in 2004 than his phone polls. - still useless, just useless in a different way than his phone polls.

"Assuming unpolled seats don't change hands"--two unpolled seats are Montana and Rhode Island, which probably have a better than even chance of changing hands.

Funny thing; this time around his polls seem more pro-Republican than many others, whereas before they were often more Democratic.  Which doesn't offer a good reason to take them seriously.

We may have a Republican Supermajority on our hands according to Zogby before this election season is through. 60 in '06!

Didn't Rush Limbaugh endorse his polls at one time?

Rush endorsed his polls in after the 1996 election because Zogby's polling most closely matched the actual outcome.  He never had Clinton defeating Dole by the amounts other polls had.  From time to time, Rush still mentions Zogby, but only in rare circumstances.

That is, the circumstances where it has the GOP doing better than any other.

No, not at all.  I actually listen to Rush and he has been very, very critical of Zogby over the last 5 or 6 years.
