Short hasn't resigned as a Whip. What is meant by resigning the whip is that she has quit the Parliamentary Labour Party. She'll continue to sit as an Independent Labour MP

Once it was too late she started being completely unconstructive has attempted to bring the Labour party into disrepute, and she did little to help the anti-war movement. She should have resigned before the war started, that might've meant something.. She has no credibility.
