If Obama runs, this is a killer ticket. Your input.

That would be a good goddamn ticket! I do wish Obama would serve a little longer though.

That would be an intersting ticket, especially since it would probably lose in a landslide.
Everybody wants Obama to run, and he just doesn't have the experience. I personally don't think he has the experience to be a Vice President yet. I would stick with a Richardson / Warner ticket, or Bayh / Ford.

Dems having a wet dream over a ticket that will never happen.
Obama is not going to cross Hillary. He knows what the Clintons can do to folks who get in the way of their amitions. Obama wakes up and threre is a horse's head in his bead.
I love it, but nice that you Dems are finally waking up to the fact that Hillary would get crushed. I'd be looking for someone else too.

So, Warner can't spend time away from his family to run for the top job, but he can for the second banana? It's not a lot different. It would make his reasoning seem odd.
And Obama-Clark is the way to go.

How about this one... Obama/Powell? It'd never happen, but it'd be interesting, to say the least. I agree with NHP, though, Warner can't really accept the veep job, given his stated reason for not running for the top spot. I think Obama will choose someone with some foreign policy gravitas, if he gets the opportunity.

My Fellow Americans! Great movie, Naso!
Warner, Edwards or Clark would all be poor choices for Warner. He's going to need someone with extensive governmental experience (which is why Cheney was a good choice for Bush). I think Richardson would be Obama's best choice.

Campaigning for VP takes up about 3 months of Warner's time. Campaigning for president would take up a few years. It's a different animal.

I hope that was directly towards Alcon because I have obviously seen it. It's one of my favorites.

Haha, memories.
It is really amazing though what Hillary was seen as. She was a senator from New York, not the equivalent of Putin.

anyone else surprised by the Daschle/T. Kennedy/Kerry machine? It apparently still carried some significant influence.
(too bad about Daschle, I've talked to some relatively significant Democratic insiders and they say that no matter how effective Sebelius is, whatever health care legislation that passes will be infinitely less effective)
