Hopefully instead of spending all of its time voting against free trade legislation, it can take advantage of the new composition and pass funding for embryonic stem cell research, pass a new federal minimum wage, enact an amnesty program for illegal immigrants, etc.

Yep, there's all 3 bills of other legislation in there that can be debated. It has been that way for awhile, hardly anything else with nobody really introducing anything else.

Aye since people don't know what they're doing.

I love how when I didn't support a bill right away I was a partaisn hack but if BRTD does it he isn't. At least I took time to look at most bills. Anyway it seems the people on the far left who hated me before still do now.

You mistake disagreement with hate.

It is hate, and it just fuels it to be sent back. At least it's not coming from you, you at least disagree and don't hate. Smiley

I admit I disagree with Free Trade on principle, but I don't hate Free Traders.

I'm not quite certain what the status of this bill is but since VA87 has voted on it today, I'll get my two cents in just to be on the safe side.

I'm generally in favor of free trade, and I think some of the points raised aginast this bill are overblown, but I agree that a plain free trade bill with respect to Djibouti is not appropriate at this time.

I honestly don't know if I am allowed to vote on this, so if I am ineligible then please disregard it completely.

Nay. I don't see any valid purpose in free trade with Djibouti.

Given that this Bill was set to fail the Fifteenth Senate, I decided not to reintroduce it to the Sixteenth Senate
