Bell is starting to consolidate those voters who vote anyone with a D besides their name. Perry is starting to do the same. Problem is there are more Reps than Dems in the state.
I've noticed both campaigns, especially Perry's, are really just going hard after those base voters and trying to wean them away from the Indys.
I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of it all, we see a 40-30-15-15 race, or so.

I really do believe that Strayhorn will crash and burn on election day, which will probably mean good news for Bell on election day...still not enough however.
My final prediction:
Perry - 38%
Bell - 33%
Kinky - 17%
Strayhorn - 11%
Other - 1%

Do you mean that you wouldn't be surprised? Otherwise that didn't make much sense...

And Perry will win with Bell probably coming in a distant second.

Is there a particular reason as to why you believe that Chris "When I'm Governor" Bell will win this election? He has had the big mo for sometime now and the best he can do in a credible poll is place a distant 2nd.

On the GOP side, for 2016, look out for Gov. Phill Kline (KS), Gov. Ralph Reed (GA), Gov. JD Hayworth (AZ), Sen. David Vitter (LA), among others.

No. Really Perry will probably win, but I'm holding onto hope. Maybe if I say Chris Bell will win enough times, he will.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. I tired that with Kinky.

If Kinky's still in 4th on Election Day, will you vote Bell?

I don't care if Werner passes him, he'll have my vote until the end. I still feel like an ass for leaving the campaign the first time.

He's run for office 8 times, won 4 times and lost 4 times.
