Haha... here is yet another Ford ballot (this time from Ophelia)  Note the endorsement of "Independent Democrat" Dr. Jake Ford, GeD over Steve Cohen (D) and Mark White (R) .



Ophelia Ford (Harold Jr.'s aunt) was to replace John Ford (Harold Jr's uncle) after he was indicted on corruption/bribery charges.  However, since Republicans in the far northern part of the district showed up to vote, Republican Terry Roland was only 13 votes down on election night.  A heated election contest ensued where a number of deceased voters and other irregularities caused the State Senate to remove Ophelia from the seat. Ophelia is rumored to be in rehab and hasn't campaigned at all.  Can we really afford this "tradition of public service" representing Tennessee the U.S. Senate???

While they may leave a lot to be desired, they're a lot better than the right-wing racists on the other side.

You know Pat Robertson's father was a racist senator, maybe he should stop preaching about peace....... Well maybe he should anyway, but to judge Ford on his family is rediculous.... and that RNC ad was pure racism......
