How do you think this will play in MI? Sounds like desperation time to me as the GOP makes a last-ditch effort to save the DeVos/Amway salesman's campaign.

Did the GOP control either house of the state legislature ay the time?  Iif so Granholm might be able to turn this against the GOP for failing to provide sufficient funding to ensure that the hearing would have been held within 45 days?  Other than that, I don't think it'll have any campaign effect as the Michigan governor's race ain't even close.
