hehehe . . . this is more for laughs than for serious discussion.  The People's Weekly World, a newspaper that openly states "We are partisan to ... Marxism and socialism. We enjoy a special relationship with the Communist Party USA, founded in 1919, and publish its news and views," has come out and endorsed three candidates for this years election.  They are:  Harold Ford, Jim Webb, and Claire McCaskill.

"Marxists" endorsing Ford? Pretty sad, actually.

Times like this, I wish we had a strong socialist party in the US. Then conservatives would have reason to be scared of the opposition. Grin

If George Allen can get it on the air in time, I'm sure he will put out an ad accusing Webb of being a Communist and pointing to this endorsement as "proof."

Nice to see the communists are smart and know the right party to back, unlike the assortment of mentally challenged folks known as the Green Party.
