It could be a situation like in Montana--maybe each state is turning it's collective anger about republicans against only ONE of it's congressional candidates, but not quite angry enough to turn it against both.  In WY, they'll keep Thomas, but Cubin is a bit nuts, even for them.  In Montana, Burns is toast, but Rehberg will be re-elected easily.  Maybe that's a simplistice explanation, but it's as good as most.

I wonder if different Dem candidates in the WY Senate race, and the MT Representative race would have made a difference???  I really think the Dems are going to have a good year in the west.  I was in Jerome, Idaho about a month and a half ago, at a retreat with people from all over Idaho, at a Benedictine Monastery.  No one there who was talking said anything kind about Bush and the republicans.

Why does this say "by 2000 Election Result"?  I didn't realize that an election result was a poll for six years in the future.

I think you meant "Aspen Media & Market Research". Tongue

I added it before we had a New Pollster option.  I didn't want to add it as Market Research Inc., because that was too close to the poster's name but is a different company.  I added it under the most obviously wrong entry so it would be corrected later (and I did correct it once that option was added).
