I've never quite understood pollsters' use of the word "edge".
In Kansas, it's D +17 and the Democrat has an "edge". In South Carolina, it's R +17, and the Republican has a "comfortable margin".

Why can't you just write "Sebelius leads Barnett by 17 (or) 57-40". It's much clearer.

I love how Granholm is leading by just five points in one poll, as opposed to Sebelius's 17-point lead, and Granholm's margin is also referred to as an "edge". To me, there's a big difference between a 5-point and a 17-point race.

I'm still going out on a limb here and predicting that Tom Vilsack will eventually become the Dem nominee.
The others--Edwards, Hillary, and Obama, have peaked WAY too early
THE BUCKS ARE GOING TO THE FINAL FOUR!!!

I'll admit when I saw the word "edge" I thought it would be closer than 17 pts.

17 point lead eh? Hell of an "edge".
On the matter at hand, hardly suprising.

As far as me writing, a lead is an edge, big or small, it is up to your interpretation, I won't change it. It doesn't matter cause she is going to win anyway.
