Merrill has better numbers than Ventura ever did, so who knows.

Obviously Baldacci will win.  Double c's trump double r's and double oo's. . .

If anyone has seen Man of the Year, they will get it.

What happened to this race while I wasn't looking!? Why didn't anyone tell me earlier?
This is even nicer than Texas.

Dude, and I thought Texas was the only state with a crazy 4-way race!

Maine's a lot smaller and gets less attention. Plus, Merrill and LaMarche have only made very late-campaign pushes and cut into Baldacci and Woodcock significantly. The Maine Green Independent Party also won 9% of the vote in the gubernatorial election in 2002, and 6.5% in 1998. They're the most successful Green Party nationwide; they have a State Senator.

Any chance Merrill will actually win?

She could. She appeals to much the same group that voted in Angus King in 1994.
Was Angus King leading in the pre election polls in 1994?
