Just for fun.
This shows the results for all the candidates.
Overall:
Talent (R): 289573 (43%)
McCaskill (D): 282767 (42%)
B.C. Young (D): 67173 (10%)
Other (R): 36209 (5%)
Libertarian: 1693 (0%)
Young got more votes than Talent in 28 counties as well.
Claire ran behind at least one of the other GOP candidates in four counties.
And here are the counties. Young counties in dark blue, anti-Dem counties in dark red.
Granted, the dark blue counties are much more likely to go for Talent, since the County elections really inspired Democratic turnout in the primaries in Northeast Missouri.
