A quick scan of the county numbers for KY-2 show that it could be very close

We weren't expecting that were we?

And NickG: hi, haven't seen you since '04.

It appears CNN has called the VT AL seat for the Dem (Welch) based on exit polling (no precincts reporting).  This was a long-shot pick-up opportunity for the GOP.

Ah, you beat me by one minute on that one. Wink

Ellsworth has a biiiiiiig lead in IN-8; some of the coalfield counties reported early (and voted for him by huge margins).
Hill leads in IN-9 with sod all counted, and IN-2 is pretty much tied.

KY-03 is at 64%; Yarmuth still leads, now by 2,616 votes.

A few more votes in, and Sodrel leads in IN-9. The lead in this district could play ping-pong...

Oh and with about the same counted as the 9th, IN-3 is rather close.

IN-03 wasn't supposed to be close, was it?

Counties reporting in IN-9 are, on the whole, strongly Republican.

That would depend on which parts of Louisville be left to count; if the areas left are mostly white collar she can still pull through. If not...

Is there any good website for nationwide House race results?  CNN is OK, but the site is slightly annoying to navigate.

It's over. Northup can't come back from that. KY-03 is the first Dem Congressional pickup of the evening.

Wow. This was one of the races to watch wasn't it? One of the races the pundits said that if it flips to the Dems that Democrats are going to have a huge night?

Probably not in the Top 20, but in the Top 40.
