Hi folks.  About Montana and Virginia...

Looks like recounts are likely in both places, no?  If so, is there a fair chance either race could be reversed?  Could the recounts go to the courts, like the Presidential of 2000?

Might narrow a bit in VA, but it looks pretty much like Webb's won it by about 8,000 votes... in MT I'm not sure but it looks like Tester won by around 2-3,000 so a recount there might change things, but i think both races have been won/lost by sufficent margins to avoid recounts being permitted... might be wrong but i dont see either Tester or Webb losing much ground in either state.

It depends on what the remaining ballots that haven't been tallied bring in.  If they cut down on Webbs current lead, then yes, there is a possibility.  If they don't, then no, Webb wins.

I seem to have heard on CNN that absentee ballots are already included in the Virginia results. Is this true? It looks like they only have provisionals left to count, which if anything would probably slightly favor Webb.
