Why does everyone (except Rob) seem to think that Kentucky is at all economically right wing?

They love their federal $$$ almost as much as West Virginia and politicians of both parties brag about how much they can bring into their area (Hal Rogers is an excellent example of that).

For what it's worth, I had it red before I deleted my map. Tongue

(Although pretty much every area that receives federal funding likes it, there's a lot of intriguing differences between cultural/political views of economics in places like KY versus places like MT and AK).

Economic

I may be off on some of the mountain states. I'm pretty confident about the rest.

Social

I guess it really depends on what social issues? Crime, immigration, guns, other hot button issues? You could create a map for each one if you wanted to break it down.

The foreign policy map should really be a see of red when one compares Clinton's record to the current fool\incumbent.
