Rick Santorum (he deserves something for all his amazing work)

Eh...that's a bit of a stretch for a Person of the Year spot but if he would have somehow won and the GOP kept control of both the House and the Senate then the choice would make sense.

I wouldn't say I am the only other person left.  Wink  Like I said, if he would have won and the GOP stayed in control, he would have been the face of a surviving party.

Person of the Year to a senator who didn't do much extra this year besides losing?  POTY is not a consolation prize, or at least it shouldn't be.

It was just the point of saying that Rick Santorum deserves some recognition for the good he's done for America

He has done great things but so did other incumbents that fell last Tuesday but we can't dedicate the Person/People of the Year slot to them.
