2 retired, and their seats flipped
6 were defeated
2 weren't up for election
4 were re-elected

Re-elected: Senator Snowe (ME), Rep. Shays (CT), Rep. Biggert (IL), Rep. Kirk (IL)
Not up: Senator Collins (ME), Senator Specter (PA)
